Zero-Friction Tasks uses End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) to ensure your tasks and personal information remain completely private and secure.

This means your data is encrypted on your device before it ever reaches our servers. Only you can decrypt and read your tasks—not us, not our employees, and not anyone else.

When you create a task:

The encryption happens locally, before any data leaves your device.

Even if we wanted to read your tasks, we couldn't—the data is encrypted.

When you sync to another device, it downloads the encrypted data

The encrypted data is transferred securely to your other devices.

Your device decrypts it using your sync code

Only devices with your sync code can decrypt and display your tasks.

At no point does anyone see your tasks in readable form—not even us.
